The Lodge on Lake Lure, Tryon Resort’s intimate oasis situated 25 minutes from TIEC in the stunning mountain lake setting of Lake Lure, is the perfect place to stay when summer comes to Western North Carolina. Featuring free admission, live music, face painting, carousel and pony rides all leading up to thrilling equestrian competition under the lights in Tryon Stadium, this tradition is a can’t-miss. Friday lunch at the General Store: Located inside the General Store, the Pony Express Deli is a delicious and convenient way to grab sandwiches, wraps, and salad, perfect for a to-go lunch for a hike, outdoor adventure, or just browsing the TIEC grounds. You’ll also find specialty chocolates, pastries, ice cream and coffee behind the counter. While you sit and enjoy lunch, browse the store for keepsakes, or Tryon Resort apparel.
Friday dinner at Treetops Restaurant: For a gourmet dining experience that you won’t be able to stop talking about, try the intimate Treetops Restaurant located within the Lodge. Our expertly-crafted dishes with hand-selected local and organic ingredients will bring an artful and delicious flavor to any weekend. Reservations are recommended, and can be made by calling 828-625-2789.
Saturday breakfast at the Lodge: The same hand-crafted, gourmet experience at Treetops Restaurant is available to Lodge on Lake Lure guests for breakfast, too! Take advantage of a slow morning and watch the day unfold over the Blue Ridge Mountains while enjoying a delicious meal that will fuel any adventure ahead.
Saturday lunch at Legends Grille: For a high-end dining experience without the dress code, try Legends Grille to enjoy organic and local favorites that are sure to satisfy. Sunday Dinner at Campagna Italian Cuisine: Sundays at Campagna are for endless crab legs and all the Italian favorites your heart desires, from pasta and lasagna to salads and flatbreads. The all-you-can-eat crab legs special is a must for your weekend!
