COVID-19 Update Regarding Fully-Vaccinated Individuals

May 15, 2021 - 8:25 AM

May 15, 2021

In response to the recent announcements by the US Equestrian Federation (USEF), the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and the State of North Carolina, we have amended our operations to allow anyone who is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to participate in outdoor activities without wearing a face covering/mask or physically distancing at Tryon International Equestrian Center & Resort (TIEC).

Masks will still be required inside the Horse Show and Lodging Offices and temperature checks will continue at the TIEC main entrance until an updated USEF COVID-19 Action Plan is released. Anyone who is not fully vaccinated is highly encouraged to continue wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. We urge everyone to be mindful of the ongoing concern surrounding the COVID-19 virus and to be respectful of the personal space and health of others.

TIEC will release an updated COVID-19 Action Plan following the receipt of USEF’s amended plan on Tuesday, May 18 to align with all governing organizations. The updated TIEC COVID-19 Action Plan plan will be available at Tryon.com/Covid

The safety and well-being of all TIEC guests and employees remains our top priority and we will continue to implement the same stringent cleaning protocols to further minimize the spread of all germs and viruses. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and patience as we navigate this transition.

Thank you,

The Team at TIEC
