Tryon International Equestrian Center Releases Summer Series Prize List, Includes Four FEI Competitions
Mill Spring, NC – May 5, 2015 – Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) is pleased to announce the release of the prize list and schedule for the highly anticipated Tryon Summer Series beginning June 23 and concluding four consecutive weeks of competition on July 19. The Tryon Summer Series will offer four weeks of FEI competition including three weeks of CSI 3* competition and one week of CSI 4* competition. Please visit http://tryon.coth.com/
All four weeks of the summer series will offer USEF Level 6 competition alongside the designated FEI classes. Tryon Summer 1 (June 24-28) will have Regional I competition available for hunters with FEI CSI 3* classes for jumpers and Tryon Summer 2 (July 1-5) will host the USHJA Children’s & Adult Jumper Regional Championships alongside a week of Premier hunter classes and another week of FEI CSI 3* competition. Tryon Summer 3 (July 8-12) will host National level hunter classes in conjunction with FEI CSI 4* competition, followed by the final week of the summer series, Tryon Summer 4 (July 15-19), which will offer the final week of FEI CSI 3* competition.

Tryon Summer 1 will offer an array of competitive jumper classes for competitors looking to compete at the international level. Some of the highlight classes of the first week of the summer series will include a $34,000 1.45 Speed Stakes, $34,000 Suncast® 1.50m Welcome Classic, the $3,000 NAL/WIHS Child and Adult Amateur Jumper Classic presented by Ariat®, and a $15,000 Under 25 Grand Prix. The $127,000 Adequan® Grand Prix CSI 3* will be held under the lights in the George Morris Stadium beginning at 6 pm on June 27.
Tryon Summer 2 will also host FEI CSI 3* competition alongside the USHJA Children’s & Adult Amateur Jumper South Regional Championships. Another $34,000 1.45m Speed Stakes will be offered, as well as the next leg of the $34,000 Suncast® 1.50m Welcome Classic. The USHJA Pre-Green Incentive class will be held in the Reynolds Family Ring, highlighting a strong week of Premier level hunter competition. Tryon Summer 2 will also host a USHJA National Hunter Derby and another $15,000 Under 25 Grand Prix. The “Saturday Night Lights” Grand Prix, the $127,000 CSI 3* Grand Prix, will be held on Saturday, July 4, beginning at 6 pm.
