Hi everyone! Fall has officially arrived, and we thought it would be the perfect week for an extra special throw back to a #ToursOfTIEC! This week featured the absolutely beautiful and cozy Lodge on Lake Lure, only about 18 minutes from Tryon International Equestrian Center. If you missed our Facebook Live tour, enjoy this photo tour of my favorite place we have visited so far!
1. The Cozy Lodge Itself
When you first walk in you walk through this beautiful archway. What an entrance. It is so inviting!Ok, let’s go take a look inside! The great room. I love that chandelier!Wow, now that’s a fireplace! The “mingle” room where they have complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres for guests from 4-5pm everyday. It is just so pretty!Let’s go explore some more!
2. Food Options – Yummy
The in-house restaurant, Tree Tops, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with panoramic views of the mountains.Breakfast is served everyday, and lunch and dinner is served Thursday through Sunday. Come enjoy this amazing porch with views of the mountain!
3. Porches, Porches, and More Porches
Each room gets their own porch. How nice!Another porch off of a downstairs room.I mean this is just so pretty. The cabana area – I’ll be here.Ok, wow. Just look at that view.More porches off of the rooms.
4. The Boathouse
The top of the boathouse is the perfect place to catch some rays. These little details make it feel so homey!Kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes; all available for those staying at the Lodge!
5. The Best Part – The Lake
Wow. We got to cruise on the huge pontoon boat and it was the best part of my day!The Boathouse and the Lodge from the water!Have you ever seen anything as beautiful as this?Keith! The BEST boat driver!Twenty feet off of that shore, Patrick Swayze lifted Jennifer Grey out of the water in the movie Dirty Dancing. Yep. Fan girl moment for sure.Heading back in to dock the boat! Ugh sad that it is over! Definitely will be coming back.Theres Keith getting the boat ready for another tour! What a fun boat ride.Goodbye to the adorable Lodge on Lake Lure! I will be back soon!
I had so much fun touring the Lodge on Lake Lure and also taking a boat tour! It was the best day.
