Mill Spring, NC – June 28, 2017 – The Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) Summer Series is excited to present the USHJA Foundation Pony Spectacular as part of competition this week at the venue, which will include fun entertainment and events for competitors and their families, as well as spectators and fans.

Pony Class Highlights:

Majority of the pony classes throughout the week will be hosted in the George H. Morris Arena to help riders and their mounts prepare for USEF Pony Finals, which will take place later in this summer in Lexington, KY. Friday afternoon will be highlighted by the $10,000 USHJA Pony Hunter Derby in the George H. Morris Arena at 3:30 p.m. The winning combination from the derby will be honored during the $86,000 Adequan® Grand Prix CSI 2* on Saturday evening.

Friday, June 30:
Movie Night and Buffet at Legends Club will feature a special screening of The Secret Life of Pets on the jumbotron at the George H. Morris Arena. A kid-friendly buffet and desserts/popcorn will be available on the Legends Club porch. Tickets for the buffet are $15/person and can be purchased both online and at the door. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., and the movie will begin between 7:30-8:00 p.m. Riders are encouraged to show off their coolest set of PJs! Free general admission seating will be available in the George H.
