The duo stopped the jump-off timers at 42.06 seconds to earn the blue. Ruyle and Cyramo Z bested a field of 32 entries to top the Ivan Tangle (ARG) course, alongside seven other pairs returning for the jump-off. “I walked the course tonight and I knew it was a good course for her, and she jumped around it clean! I knew I was first to go, so I just wanted to make sure I was patient and have a clear round. It wasn’t the smoothest run I’ve had; but, It panned out for me!”

She’s a little grey mare and is really feisty,” Ruyle described Cyramo Z. “I’ve had her since she was seven, so we’ve had a long time to build a good partnership, and she’s 11 now. This is actually our first FEI Grand Prix win, and my first ever!”

“It feels so rewarding,” Ruyle shared when asked how it felt to secure her first FEI Grand Prix. “I’ve been chomping at the bit for a year now and it’s finally happened! [I] just kept trying. Just kept going at it and never gave up. I’m a really persistent person, and I finally got here.”

I love Tryon,” Ruyle shared while reflecting on her experiences at the venue. “I come here every year and it’s my favorite horse show. They do such a good job. The facility is really built for horses. I never have a problem, and I think they do an amazing job. I’ll continue coming back here.”
