Because of the uncertainty of gathering for indoor events at the Tryon International Equestrian Center this summer, we’ve decided to postpone the festival until 2022. As always, our top priority is for the health and safety of festival staff, artists, volunteers, sponsors, vendors & patrons.
We appreciate your willingness this past year to support the festival by holding on to your tickets, which may be used for the 2022 festival. Changes to the lineup will be announced in the very near future. Since the Earl Scruggs Music Festival is a fundraiser for Isothermal Community College and the Earl Scruggs Center, tickets holders may also convert their festival purchase to a tax-deductible donation to help support the festival’s transition to 2022.
For those who opt to keep their tickets for 2022, the follow premiums are available as a thank you for supporting the festival:
The Earl Scruggs Center in Shelby, NC offers free admission for each Earl Scruggs Music Festival ticket holder plus one guest, to be used anytime between now and September 4, 2022. To redeem this offer, visit the Guest Services desk & share your name. Tryon International Equestrian Center and Resort (TIEC), Mill Springs, NC will provide one (1) complimentary vehicle admission per Earl Scruggs Music Festival ticket holder to one night of the 2021 Christmas Light Show this November – December 2021. Max 8 passengers per vehicle. To redeem a vehicle pass, contact tickets@tryon.com once tickets for this event goes on sale. Visit tryon.com/events for event updates. ($30 value)
Isothermal Community College, Spindale, NC: One (1) complimentary ticket to WNCW’s annual “Goin’ Across the Mountain Live” Concert, featuring the Po’ Ramblin Boys, for each Earl Scruggs Music Festival Ticket Holder as of March 3rd, 2021. The concert is scheduled for Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Foundation Performing Arts Center, located on the Campus of Isothermal Community College. Earl Scruggs Music Festival Ticket Holders can call the Foundation Box Office at (828) 286-9990 to reserve their ticket, once they go on sale in August 2021. All Earl Scruggs Music Festival tickets will automatically rollover to the 2022 festival. If you would like to donate your ticket to the festival, please contact tickets@tryon.com. If you’d like a refund, you may do so by contacting us at tickets@tryon.com by April 4, 2021.
