From first-time visitors to lifelong fans, every guest is invited to enjoy an evening of energy, community, and unforgettable moments under the lights.
What to Expect.
Saturday Night Lights combines free family fun, dining, live entertainment, and Grand Prix show jumping under the lights.

Admission is free, with General Admission giving you access to Saturday Night Lights, including the competition and many of our family-friendly activities across the grounds.
General Parking is $10 | VIP parking is available
Food, drinks, and dining experiences are offered throughout the venue, so you can customize your night however you’d like.
Take in the competition from a range of viewing areas around the arena. Walk the grounds, find your favorite spot, and enjoy the evening at your own pace. Or settle into a reserved space for a more tailored experience.

Arrive early for the main family activities in Legends Plaza. Entertainment varies each week and may include:
Pony rides
Carousel rides
Bubbles and jugglers
Balloon artists and face painting

Shops, restaurants, and concessions

New to Show Jumping?
Here’s what you can expect once the competition begins:
Round One
Every horse-and-rider combination enters the arena one at a time and follows the same course, completing the jumps in a set order.
The goal is to finish without lowering a rail, refusing a jump, or exceeding the time allowed. A round with no penalties is called a clear round.
The Jump-Off
Riders who qualify return for a second round called the jump-off. The course is shorter and faster, giving riders opportunities to make tighter turns and race against the clock.
The rider with the fewest faults and fastest time wins. In most cases, the fastest clear round takes the top spot.
Follow Along
Before the competition begins, pick up an order of go from the Welcome Tent or at locations around the property. This will show the order in which each horse-and-rider combination is scheduled to compete.
Watch Like a Pro
A lowered rail usually adds four faults
The clock becomes especially important in the jump-off
The leaderboard can change until the final rider finishes
Cheer after each round, but stay quiet as horses approach the jumps
Competition formats may vary slightly by event, but this will help you follow the action throughout the evening.

2026 Saturday Night Lights Schedule
These action-packed nights feature entertainment such as pony rides, live bands, face painting, FREE rides on a hand-painted carousel, a tone of fun performers, and more!
Grab dinner, a carnival-style treat, your beverage of choice, and enjoy top show jumping competition under the lights in Tryon Stadium with family and friends. Leashed (well behaved) pets are always welcome, too!
Parking Fees:
Paid parking for Saturday Night Lights (cash or card both accepted) will begin at 3pm, and all horse show and lodging guests will be provided with passes to provide a seamless experience. Our guests can continue to expect free kids activities (such as face painting, pony rides, carousel rides, etc.), live music and entertainment, free access to all shopping and dining options, and world-class competition at no charge.

Yes, anyone wishing to get dropped off instead of paying for parking may be dropped off at the Indoor Complex shuttle stop.

Parking becomes paid at 3pm each Saturday of Saturday Night Lights. Anyone arriving to Tryon International prior to 3pm will not be charged.
