Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) Communication to Accommodate Ian Evacuation

Equine:

Do you have stabling available? 

Yes, we have limited stabling available through reservations by completing a stabling reservation form HERE!

Stabling cost?

$25 per stall, per night, includes 10’X12’ permanent stall with rubber mats, fans, 24 hr. security on property.  All accounts will be settled through the Horse Show Office once you arrive on property. 

Do you have turn out or riding areas?

No, unfortunately we do not have turn out available on property.  We will have several all-weather footing arenas that we will allow horses to be walked and lunged and grass trails that will be open, weather permitting.

What paperwork is required to stable?

All health documents must be presented with the horse(s) at the gate upon arrival. 

  1. Negative Coggins test within one year.
  2. Out of state horses must have a 3-day interstate health certificate.  

How long can the horses stay at TIEC?

We have a limited number of stalls available through October 5, 2022.

Do you have shavings and hay available on property?

Yes, TIEC sells shavings and hay products.  These can be pre ordered through the stabling request form or purchased on property at the Horse Show Office.

Will you stable non-equine animals (goats, donkeys, cows, etc.)?

Unfortunately, our facility is not equipped to stable other animals at this time.

Do you ship horses?

No, we do not arrange shipping.

Do you have onsite Security? 

Yes, TIEC has 24 hr. security on property and are available for after hours check in or questions at 828.863.1019.

Once we arrive can we compete in the Horse Show?

Yes.  If evacuees decide to compete in the horse show, they will be charged normal show rates, including competition stabling rates.  Any horses planning to compete must be entered online through Show Grounds Live at https://tryon.com/SglHome

 

Lodging:

Lodging for grooms and support staff?

TIEC does not allow individuals to sleep in the barn areas overnight. We do have on site lodging, RV spaces, provided at a discounted rate for evacuees. Lodging reservations can be made through www.tryon.com and 828.863.1015.
