TRYON INTERNATIONAL EQUESTRIAN CENTER OFFERS SEVERAL WAYS TO DINE ONSITE

From family-friendly to first-class gourmet and snacks in between, Tryon International Equestrian Center is a dining hub for both equestrians and spectators.

1. ROGER’S DINER

Monday/Tuesday: 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Wednesday-Sunday: 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Open year round

Named for Tryon Resort partner Roger Smith, Roger’s Diner is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering a menu of classic and southern favorites like burgers, patty melts, grits, and milkshakes along with breakfast all day and gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian choices. The diner’s shiny metallic exterior and green pinstripe boasts an authentic 50s vibe, and patrons can sit outside at covered patio tables or inside the “Happy Days” era restaurant at comfortable banquettes, booths or a traditional lunch counter. Beer and wine are also available.

2. LEGENDS GRILLE

Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Sunday: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Friday/Saturday: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Mondays: Open on back-to-back weeks of horse shows

Open to the public, Legends Grille provides a first-class dining experience without the hassle of a strict dress code. Offering lunch and dinner service, the Legends dishes are prepared using the freshest ingredients and, of course, casual elegance. Let your eyes dance down the menu of artful choices such as “Horseradish Encrusted Wild Salmon” sautéed and served with Orange-Vodka and dill broth; “Lobster Fettuccine” made with sautéed Main lobster, asparagus tips, sundried tomatoes, Genovese Basil in a Chardonnay cream; or “Buckhead Premium New York Strip” char-grilled with house rub and served with beer-battered Shitake mushrooms and Burgundy wine bordelaise sauce. Or choose lighter fare like “Tuna Tacos” that is already a crowd favorite and prepared with sashimi tuna, avocado and cilantro rice. Appetizers, soups, salads and delectable desserts are also available and lunch is just as pleasing to the taste buds.

3. LEGENDS CLUB MEMBERSHIP

While the Legends Grille is open to the public, the VIP Legends Club ringside dining is for members only. Memberships are open to the public. Complete with three-course, gourmet buffet and open bar, sitting tableside in the covered pavilion of the Legends Club provides the ultimate viewing experience for every grand prix competition. 4. BLUE GINGER SUSHI & NOODLES 

Wednesday- Saturdays: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Sundays: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Monday/Tuesday: CLOSED

Get your sushi fix at Blue Ginger Sushi & Noodles where the freshest seafood and locally sourced ingredients are delicately handcrafted into edible works of art. With a large selecting including rolls, sashimi and tradition sushi, Blue Ginger Sushi & Noodles will charm any sushi lover’s palette. Beer, wine and Saki are available.

5. FOOD CART – Barn Snacks

Wednesdays – Sundays: 6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Open during horse show weeks only

If the competition has you tied up and unable to eat, the TIEC Food Cart will bring satisfaction your way. Loaded with coffee, snacks, and cold beverage as it roams through the barns to hold you over until you can visit one of the many on-site restaurants.

6. PIZZA OVEN

Saturday – Noon – 10 p.m.
Open during horse show weeks only

At the TIEC Pizza Oven, choose from a variety of fresh ingredients – like cheese, pepperoni, and vegetable – to pair with a flatbread crust that is then baked to crispy perfection in a wooden-fired oven. With pies starting at $8, a wood-fired pizza is an affordable and convenient way to feed the whole family.
