This is the premier and only commercial lodge on Lake Lure with a boat house. Not directly on-site, but owned by Tryon Resort, the lodge is only 18 minutes from Tryon International Equestrian Center.
The Lodge’s 17 rooms have been completely re-decorated, updated, modernized and refurbished. Each room – all with sweeping views of mountains, lake or gardens — has its own personality, its own whimsical take on tradition and its own thoughtful décor. Just as your close friend would, the Lodge on Lake Lure promises to anticipate every detail and need in order to ensure your stay is a memorable one. Choose from the Lake Ridge Floor with 5 rooms, the Sunset Cove Floor with 7 rooms, or the separate Lake House with 5 rooms. Each floor of The Lake House has rooms that can open into each other for family or friend get togethers, or closed for private individual visits.
The Lodge on Lake Lure also offers the perfect spot to dine - among the treetops under a canopy of leafy shade. The Tree Tops Restaurant, located on the main entrance level of the inn, offers sweeping, panoramic views of the lake and surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. With both indoor seating as well as outdoor al fresco dining on the veranda, Tree Tops features a relaxed ambience set amidst breathtaking natural beauty. Our culinary team creates a menu using local produce and products, including Fresh Local Mountain Trout. Our menu is subject to change daily depending upon the freshest seasonal produce available.
The area boasts great golf, hiking, river and lake activities. Within walking distance is a 9-hole municipal golf course, and a short drive away are your choice of 18- hole courses. Chimney Rock Park is within 15 minutes of the Lodge. Visit Hollywood movie sites such as Dirty Dancing and Last of the Mohicans. Lake boat cruises are minutes away. Flat Rock Playhouse, Downtown Hender- sonville and the music scene of Asheville are close by. Waterfalls, State and National Parks and mountain hiking are within reach.
