Enhanced COVID-19 Protocols

The team at Tryon would like to thank you all for your support with our COVID-19 protocols to date. We endeavor to remain at the forefront of communications and protocols to ensure you and your family’s continued safety within our competitions. Many of you are not from the area, so this is meant to be a pre-emptive service in the event you require some assistance. The faster issues are addressed, the safer we are as a community.  

We would greatly appreciate your cooperation in the following: 

Daily, starting today, Thursday, October 15, at 7:00 am, we will be sending you a single text question: “Do you have any COVID-related symptoms?” A single response would be required, enter 1 for No, 2 for Yes. 

If you respond 2 (Yes), you will immediately be sent a name and phone number that will direct you to local testing. 

We have also arranged to have free testing available next Thursday, October 21, at the Wheat Creek Church, 11:00am-12:00pm, just across from trailer parking, through our local health department. This will be a drive-thru option open to the public.  

Currently, according to the CDC, the following symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

• Fever or chills
• Cough
• New loss of taste or smell
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches
• Headache
• Sore throat
• Congestion or runny nose
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea
